    ‘All of Us Are Dead’ characters comparison Webtoon vs. Netflix

    All of Us Are Dead is a South Korean coming-of-age zombie apocalypse horror TV show. The series takes place in a high school where a zombie apocalypse breaks out and it threatens the well-being of the students.

    Previously we also covered the characters’ adaptation of the South Korean drama “Hellbound”. In this article, we are going to cover the comparison of the characters in the All of Us Are Dead series adaptation and the original webtoon.

    The series is based on the Webtoon of the name “Now at Our School” by Joo Dong-Geun.

    1. Lee Cheong-San

    As of the webtoon, Lee Cheong-San does not oppose Yoon Gwi-nam. In the webtoon, he had never even met him. In the series, however, the two are shown as enemies. Moreover, in the webtoon, Lee Cheong-San is not even the main character.

    2. Nam On-Jo

    In the webtoon, Nam On-jo is shown as a very mature and caring person who looks out for her friends and helps them. In the series, however, Nam On-jo is shown as the girl looking for her first love. Nam On-jo has a crush on Lee Su-hyeok and she is jealous of his relationships with other people and notably Choi Nam-ra. She is also the narrator of the original webtoon She writes the All of Us Are Dead story at the end when her friend Park Mi-jin brings her a notebook.

    3. Lee Su-Hyeok 

    In the webtoon, Lee Su-Hyeok gets bitten by Choi Nam-Ra. However, in the drama Lee Su-Hyeok protects Choi Nam-Ra who gets bitten by Yoon Gwi-nam. Moreover, in the series, she does not bite him until the very end. In the webtoon, Choi Nam-ra reunites with him but that does not happen in the series. They are expected to reunite in season 2.

    4. Choi Nam-Ra 

    Choi Nam-Ra has an eye injury in the original webtoon. Unlike in the webtoon Choi Nam-Ra’s eyes are not hurt in the series. Nonetheless, her eyes turn red in the series when she wants to bite someone. In the webtoon, Choi Nam-Ra reappears after a long disappearance and receives treatment with the government’s assistance. In the series, she does not get any government assistance.

    5. Lee Na-Yeon

    Lee Na-yeon’s personality looks notably different in the webtoon. She is shown as a “soft character” feeling guilty about what she did to Han Gyeong-Su. She eventually goes insane in the webtoon. On the other hand, she wants to be recognized and wants power in the series.
