Apart from all the challenges like Merlin Trials and bosses like Pensieve Guardian, Hogwarts Legacy is also equipped with quite a few achievements/trophies. One such achievement on which we will be anchoring today is none other than Hogwarts Legacy The Intrepid Explorer achievement.
This particular achievement requires you to discover Cairn Dungeons and since not many people know about their exact locations, today we will be aiding you with that. Thus without any further ado, let’s discover some Cairn Dungeons.
The Intrepid Explorer Achievement
The majority of Cairn Dungeons are simple to find just by completing both the main quest and side quests. However, not all of them are necessary for achievement and neither does Hogwarts Legacy tells which ones are necessary so for that very reason we are here. Here is the list of all the Crain Dungeons and their locations, which are necessary for the achievement.
Dale Family Tomb
The very first Dale Family Tomb is located at the east side of Hogwarts Valley, the closest floo flame is BROCBURROW. Once you are at this floor flame head east in order to reach Dale Family Tomb. Now, this is actually accessible all the time, however, The side quest “‘Beeting’ A Curse” with Samantha Dale will make you encounter it as well. So simply just enter the cave once you’re there and you will be done with discovering the very first Crain Dungeon.
Tomb of Treachery
This one is located on the north side of Poidsear Coast, the closest floo flame is also named Tomb of Treachery. Once you are there simply just enter the cave in order to discover this dungeon. However, you can start the “Cursed Tomb Treasure” quest as well which will introduce you to this dungeon as well.
The Collector’s Cave
As far as this one and the rest of the upcoming dungeons are concerned, you cannot get to their location and enter inside them unless you’re on a particular quest. You’ll enter this dungeon as part of the quest “The Helm of Urtkot,” which is located on the southern edge of the Forbidden Forest slightly to the north of collectors cave Floo point.
Feldcroft Catacomb
The fourth dungeon is called the Feldcroft catacombs, this is part of Sebastian salo’s relationship Quest. The quest that we’re looking for is “In the shadow of time” which is Sebastian’s sixth relationship Quest. So it’s quite far on into the story around when you do the second trial. The dungeon is located just south of Feldcroft but you can’t open the door to the dungeon until you’ve started this Quest.
Moonstone Garden
Last but not the least, Moonstone Garden can only be accessed during the poppy sweetings relationship Quest called “The centaur and the stone”. As with Sebastian’s, this is the sixth relationship quest for poppy Sweeting. You’ll find it unlocked once you progress the story until the point you’ve completed the third trial. The dungeon itself can just be found to the west of Irondale however you can’t open the door until you start Poppy’s Quest.
