These are the most powerful members of the Marines and they hold the most power as well right after the fleet admiral. There are only three admirals serving at a single time.
The job of the Marines and the admirals is to stop pirates all around the world. Below we’ve gathered some amazing concepts of how One Piece admirals would look like in real life.

Akainu

Akainu, also called Sakazuki, is one of the strongest characters in One Piece. He has the power of the Magu Magu no Mi. He was one of the three admirals during the Golden Age of Piracy. He played a very important role in the Marineford War where he killed Portgas D. Ace, Luffy’s brother. Akainu has now been promoted to the position of Fleet Admiral.
Aokiji

Aokiji, also known as Kuzan, is also one of the three admirals from the Golden Age of Piracy. He hosts the Hie Hie no Mi. He was one of the five vice admirals who called the Buster Call on Ohara. After the Marineford War, he fought Akainu for 10 days, ultimately losing. After that, he resigned from the Marines, unwilling to serve under Akainu.
Kizaru

Kizaru, or Borsalino, is the only serving admiral that remains from the Golden Age of Piracy. He has the Pika Pika no Mi that gives him the power to manipulate light at will. He also took part in the Marineford War. Although he is a very powerful character, we have yet to see more of him in the anime.
Fujitora

Issho, codenamed Fujitora, is a new admiral who was promoted after Akainu moved up and Aokiji resigned. Fujitora is blind but his Devil Fruit, Zushi Zushi no Mi, allows him to overcome his shortcomings. We saw most of his prowess in Dressrosa when he was first introduced and we hope to see more of him in the coming times.
