Baldur’s Gate 3 All Review Scores

Ever since the release of Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s been highly praised for its immersive storyline and beautiful graphics all over the gaming community. The game has become the favorite of many and there has significant praise for the developers, Larian Studios. The effort and the making that went into this game are now being reflected by the good reviews and Baldur’s Gate 3 securing the position as the highest metric rating, just above Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

    Main Plot of the game

The game starts with the players choosing to form their character, which are the 12 classes used in the Dungeons and Dragons franchise paired with the 11 races. After the customization, the player gets to embark on an adventure where the choices made will affect the role and character of the player in the game. The storyline of the game happens 100 years after Baldur’s Gate 2: Shadows of Amn.

The game starts with you being kidnapped and taken to Nautiloid, a ship utilized by Cthulu-like mind flayers. Mind flayers are creatures that can travel between dimensions and have now attacked the city. They forcefully implant a parasite into your eye, infecting you that will turn you into a mind flayer. The player later finds out that there are some people who are controlling mind flayers by using ancient Netherese magic. The last act focuses on the fight between both parties, with the ending based on the player’s choices up til then.

As the payers can control if they want to choose a righteous and pure path or dwell in corruption, they can choose how to play the game and gain power. This leads to the final decision when the player is given the option to either make the brain destroy itself or take control of it and take over the entire world, based on choices made throughout the game.

4.5/10Baldur’s Gate 3 is something special, though. Its complexity is intimidating, but sticking with it and learning has such a high reward threshold that it’s hard to not recommend the sequel to even the most casual gamers out there. It has heart, it has style, and it has the multi-year effort of a studio that obviously loves its source material.

    Can the rating fluctuate?

If we look at the reviews for Baldur’s Gate 3, throughout the whole list it’s evident that the game is rated high by everyone who played it. The overwhelming approval across the board by gamers shows that everything is checked off for them in this game. It is not hidden that the developers put a lot of effort into its making which can start from detailed graphics, connecting storylines, and overall an immersive experience for the gamers with the roleplaying element added.

However, the ratings may drop or rise after a few weeks as this game is yet to be released on other platforms and is lacking in reviews. This may be due to the fact that there are still many people who have yet to complete the game. More reviews may result in changes in the ranking in the near future but so far, it is highest in its ranking.

It can also be possible that the ranking remains the same as the reviews which are still present show the unanimous nod towards it being a good game worthy of praise so let’s wait and see what happens next.

    Conclusion

All reviews have praised the game for its graphics, storyline, character building, and world-building that gives tons of ideas to the players on how they like to play. Apart from some pointing out something they thought was lacking, there is nothing that can overpower the sheer support this game has gotten. With Larian Studios being praised this much, it is understandable that they will now be getting higher expectations for future updates.

That is all for the discussion on all review scores for Baldur’s Gate 3. After the intense game of Baldur’s Gate 3, if you want an easy interactive game, then Immortality is a good game to try.
