However, without having a proper weapon these thrilling missions can turn into super repetitious missions. So here we have some of the Sniper Elite 5 best weapons that you can use to continue with your adventure.

    Best Sniper Rifles

The Sniper Elite line is known for its sniper weapons. While certain weaponry in Sniper Elite 5 has been changed, their goal remains the same: to obtain one-shot kills from a distance. However, at different moments in your missions, each sniper gun serves a different purpose and has a different specialty depending on the scenario.

Sniper Elite 5 includes six sniper rifles. Each gun has its own characteristics that distinguish it from the others. Power, fire rate, control, mobility, range, zoom, and magazine size are all factors to consider when choosing a gun.

    Karabiner 98

    Audible Range: 140 meters
    Fire Rate: 28 rpm
    Damage: 145 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 500ms
    Zoom: 6x
    Magazine Size: 5

Karabiner 98 is definitely the most powerful sniper rifle in Sniper Elite 5. One shot on target and it’s a sure kill. Even though the gun has a pretty low fire rate, you will not only get power but as well as appropriate control and velocity.

    SREM-1

    Sniper Elite 5 Best Weapons

    Audible Range: 128 meters
    Fire Rate: 46 rpm
    Damage: 108 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 500 ms
    Zoom: 8x
    Magazine Size: 6

SREM-1 has a superb balance of control due to its strong control and medium velocity. This multipurpose weapon can be used in combat for mid-range sniping as well as from a vantage position on watchtowers. This sniper rifle also has a shorter audible range than Karabiner 98, so you’ll be less likely to attract enemies nearby.

    M1903

    Sniper Elite 5 Best Weapons

    Audible Range: 135 meters
    Fire Rate: 34 rpm
    Damage: 120 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 500 ms
    Zoom: 8x
    Magazine Size: 5

The M1903 is by default a beginner’s gun. It works great for training all aspects of sniping, including aim and shots while moving. The M1903 has a five-bullet magazine capacity and a fair range. Its sole drawback may be the reload time, which may not be ideal in high-stress combat situations. For a base gun, this gun’s range and damage are notable positives. It also provides excellent stability, which aids with accurate targeting.

    RSC 1918

    Sniper Elite 5 Best Weapons

    Audible Range: 150 meters
    Fire Rate: 250 rpm
    Damage: 127 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 400 ms
    Zoom: 6x
    Magazine Size: 5

RSC 1918 is known for its low recoil, which allows you to recover more quickly after a failed shot, as well as its low muzzle velocity, which is ideal for long-range sniping. This sniper rifle is also known for its mix of strength and fire rate is the RSC 1918. A few things item to keep in mind is the muzzle velocity (which will be a disadvantage in windy conditions), lack of control, and agility. The gun also has an audible range of 150 meters, which is the highest of all sniper rifles.

    Gewehr 1943

    Audible Range: 130 meters
    Fire Rate: 400 rpm
    Damage: 105 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 400 ms
    Zoom: 6x
    Magazine Size: 10

The Gewehr 1943 is ideal for players who prefer high damage over everything because this gun does enough damage but doesn’t offer anything else. It has a good audible range, although it’s more of a mid-range SMG than a true sniper. It’s merely a mid-range sniper due to its limited zoom, making long-range sniping difficult.

    M1A Carabine

    Audible Range: 105 meters
    Fire Rate: 420 rpm
    Damage: 79 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 400 ms
    Zoom: 8x
    Magazine Size: 15

With its 15-bullet magazine, the M1A carbine functions similarly to a slightly more powerful SMG. Although it has very low damage to offer it has the highest fire rate of all the sniper rifles. One thing to keep in mind regarding this gun’s scope is that, despite its 8x zoom, it performs poorly in long-range shooting. It also has the shortest audible range, but that’s a minor advantage for the game’s weakest sniper weapon.

After going through all these sniper rifles, now you have an idea which sniper rifle will suit you best. You might first opt for SREM-1 but given how early Karabiner 98 is unlocked, you might not be able to resist using it since its definitely one of the Sniper Elite 5 Best Weapons.

    Best Rifles

Sniper Elite 5’s rifles are classified as secondary weapons, in the same category as SMGs. These semi-automatic weapons are best used once you’ve learned the art of juking while fighting.

Sniper Elite 5 includes four rifles. Each gun has its own characteristics that distinguish it from the others. Power, fire rate, control, mobility, range, zoom, and magazine size are all factors to consider when choosing a gun.

    Machine Pist.44

    Sniper Elite 5 Best Weapons

    Audible Range: 100 meters
    Fire Rate: 500 rpm
    Damage: 45 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 300 ms
    Zoom: 1X
    Magazine Size: 30

In Sniper Elite 5, the Machine Pist.44 is the most powerful rifle. In assault mode, this gun will still perform admirably, the Machine Pist.40’s SMG version incapacitates foes with limb hits, making the Machine Pist.44 a definite kill. Although the 500 rpm fire rate is reasonable for the 30-bullet magazine size, mobility and control aren’t on your side.

    M1A1 Gov

    Sniper Elite 5 Best Weapons

    Audible Range: 100 meters
    Fire Rate: 680 rpm
    Damage: 45 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 300 ms
    Zoom: 1X
    Magazine Size: 20

M1A1 Gov has a lot of power and fires quickly, but with only 20 bullets per magazine, you’ll have to reload more frequently and risk running out when you need it most. If only the magazine size of the M1A1 Gov was larger, it may be the greatest rifle in Sniper Elite 5.

    Type 100

    Audible Range: 90 meters
    Fire Rate: 800 rpm
    Damage: 34 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 300 ms
    Zoom: 1x

This rifle is the most dependable gun in this list when playing multiplayer, however, it isn’t the most reliable weapon in this list when playing campaign. When the alarm rings, its extraordinarily fast fire rate isn’t particularly reliable and it also has a pretty low zoom. This also shows why Type 100 is ranked in the bottom part of the Rifle Rankings.

    Stengun MK2

    Audible Range: 85 meters
    Fire Rate: 530 rpm
    Damage: 35 HP
    Recoil Recovery: 300 ms
    Zoom: 1x
    Magazine Size: 32

In Sniper Elite 5, the Stengun MK2 is the poorest of all firearms. Why? By a wide amount, its fire rate is the slowest. If you prefer playing FPS in assault mode, the damage and range of this gun are not worth the bother. The only plus point is its high mobility, control, and its low audible range of 85 meters.

After going through all this, now you have an idea which rifle will suit you best. The Machine Pist.44 is fantastic, but given how long it takes to unlock it, the M1A1 Gov is definitely a good choice to start with.
