The much-awaited update of Genshin Impact Version 3.0 is finally here and it has taken over Genshin players. The new update brings with it a series of exhilarating missions for you to go on and a number of rewards to achieve as you explore new picturesque views. “Silent Seeker of Knowledge” is an Archon type quest and is one of the initial missions you will come across in this sumeru version.
It is fair to call it a sub-mission though as it is entirely within a domain and is a part of a greater mission “Through Mists of Smoke and Forests Dark”.
The quest itself isn’t a lot of work to be honest, that is if you know what to do. In this guide, we will let you know all about the Genshin Impact Silent Seeker of Knowledge quest and how to complete it step by step.
To start the quest, you need to help Tighnari, a dendro character, rescue Haypasia, the quest exclusive NPC from a cave within sumeru. You can also read about sumeru viewpoint locations here.
However, once you start the quest, you won’t be able to leave this region till you’ve completed the storyline so buckle up.
Find the Bouncy Mushrooms
The quest will start with some enemies you will have to take down. You will also come across a chest that can be unlocked only after you have cleared the enemies out.
Keep an eye out for bouncy mushrooms in this domain. After you have spotted these, just stand on top of them and jump, this will boost you upwards so you can access more of the domain.
Go Through the Dungeon
Now follow the path you are on. This will lead you to a dungeon where you will find yourself in a room. Go right through the dungeon and you will reach the next stage.
Collect the Rosins
Going through the dungeon/room will transport you back to the familiar green area. Here, you will be met with a blocked pathway with a Primeval Rosin next to it. If you get close to it, it will teach you what they do. Basically, once you get your hands on them, a path will open up.
To open the area’s last door, gather them all. You will need to obtain three Primeval Rosins to unlock the area.
Go back To the Bouncy Mushrooms
Head back to the area where you saw the mushrooms. Now jump on them again to be taken to another place. You will find yourself back at the initial place where you started, but this time the route you will take will be different so don’t get confused!
Defeat the Enemies
You will be led into a room brimming with enemies that you will have to defeat in order to continue with the quest. After defeating them a green circle/orb will appear. Jumping on it will transport you to the next area where you will find another Rosin. Bag it and continue.
Activate the Door with Rosins
Continuing down the path, you will see the final gate. It requires Rosins to unlock it and by now you only have two. The third one is immediately below; take it and open the gate with it.
Solve the Puzzle
You must configure your camera to display the image below.
After you have completed the puzzle, it will unlock a door to a lift that will send you to another plant area. Just follow the waypoints from here.
Defeat Final Boss
At the very end, you will come head to head with the final boss, an Abyss Herald. Defeat him.
Return to Gandhara Ville
Make sure to cook some food for poor Haypasia. Go to the cooking pot and select ‘Make Box Lunch.’ Then, give Haypasia the final product.
Now return to Gandharva Ville and say goodbye to Collei. Returning to Gandharva Ville will allow Tighnari to send you on your way to Sumeru City. This will mark the end of the Genshin Impact Silent Seeker of Knowledge quest.
