The Genshin Impact Luna 3 Livestream just ended and revealed some major news for the players, along with the primogem redemption codes, and the character kits for the upcoming characters.
Genshin Impact is an open-world action RPG, developed by HoYoverse, where players explore the vast world of Teyvat, collect characters, build teams, and take on everything from story quests to high-level combat challenges. The game offers fast, reactive combat built around elemental abilities, a huge roster of characters, and an evolving storyline that expands with every major update.
Genshin Impact Luna 3: Trailer
Starting with the trailer. Packed with the upcoming lore, there’s so much to talk about. Not only did we get a glimpse of the upcoming characters, but we were also taken back to the gate that leads to Khaenri’ah with Mona by our side. Barabatos also steps into action to protect Mondstadt as the abyssal power grows stronger.
The trailer also made sure to include all the characters related to the Hexenzirkel. And not to forget, we will be finally meeting Alice and Nicole (also known as “N”) in the upcoming patch. Another major lore-drop came in the form of the Traveler’s spaceship being shown in a phantom form. The trailer also hinted at the return of the Damselette to the real moon, beyond the skies of Teyvat.
Story
The new version will bring with it two Archon Quests (be sure to complete them during the version to get an extra 500x Primogems!) and also a story quest for Durin.
Although the story remains a mystery, the livestream revealed that the appearance of Alice was due to her duty of maintaining the stability between the borders of Teyvat and the Abyss, and Nod-Krai being at the edge of this border, put it at risk. Due to this, the whole region becomes flooded with phantoms, including the Traveler’s spaceship. Nicole’s appearance remains unknown at present, but it is revealed that she does not speak; rather, her words enter the minds of the people she communicates with.

Upcoming Characters and Event Wishes
First Half
The first half will have the new character, Durin (Pyro), alongside Venti. The first half will also feature the new 4-star character: Jahoda (Anemo).
Durin’s kit immerses both Simulanka and the original Durin dragon’s elements. He has two different combat styles, triggered by the way you use his elemental skill. The Abyssal and “fairy tale” powers of Durin allow him to act both as a support and a DPS.
With Durin, there will be a new boss for him that you’ll have to farm for his materials as well, The Super-Heavy Landrover: Mechanised Fortress.
Jahoda will most likely play a support/sub-dps role in most teams. This Curatorium of Secrets character will also have the same investigative abilities as Nefer; however, her reactions will be slightly different.
Besides that, Venti, one of the first characters in Genshin Impact, is getting his kit revamped. He’s also getting a brand new weapon and burst changes. The new burst will also change his normal attacks and will buff your other characters more as well. The reason behind this is that Venti finally recovers some of his powers through a quest where we accompany him to the mysterious, hidden island of the God of Time, Istaroth.
It should be noted that Venti isn’t the only character getting this buff. Starting from the upcoming version, all characters associated with the Hexenzirkel will receive different buffs, which will only be activated when two “Hexerei” characters are in the same party. This will activate the “Secret Rite” effect.
Second Half
The second half of Event Wishes features two characters from Natlan. Varesa, and one of the most flexible supports, Xilonen.
Events and more
This version is packed with events, the main one being the Nod-Krai Festival for the farewell of the Damselette.
We’ll also be returning to Dragonspine for an event that will bring together characters from all nations. This event will also reward players with an Event-Exclusive Weapon and its refinement materials.
In another event, we will be returning to Natlan to play some Finchball again. And finally, Liben will also be making a return, giving us information and rewards, in exchange for some items. The livestream hinted that the information that Liben will give will be related to a new region in Mondstadt.
The new version will also bring new echoes for Klee and Albedo, obtainable through Imaginarium Theatre. There will also be new cards added to TCG, and new updates to Miliastra Wonderland.
Ever since Genshin Impact started the Luna versions, no update has seemed like a filler, and each has been packed with exciting lore updates, interesting characters, and a lot of rewards. Safe to say, players can’t wait to see what the Genshin Impact Luna 3 version will bring for them. Although there’s a lot of discourse among the community, the majority of the fans have been enjoying Nod-Krai. The appearance of so many long-awaited characters in-game has players on their toes.
