Whether you’re aiming for completion, trophies, or just love exploring, these golden goat statuettes are hidden in clever and surprising spots, and we’ll walk you through all of the San Angora Zoo trinket locations in Goat Simulator 3.

Goat Simulator 3 is a sandbox goat-mayhem game developed by Coffee Stain Studios (Coffee Stain North), published by Coffee Stain Publishing. Set in the open-world state of San Angora, the game offers chaotic exploration, physics-driven hijinks, quests, collectibles (like trinkets), and more.

    What are the Trinkets?

Trinkets in Goat Simulator 3 are small, golden goat-shaped collectibles hidden all across San Angora. Each one emits a subtle glow and a distinct jingling sound when you’re nearby, making them easier to spot during exploration. They’re scattered in hard-to-reach places, inside buildings, behind props, on rooftops, underwater, and throughout themed areas like the San Angora Zoo.

    Why do Trinkets Matter?

Trinkets play a big role in Goat Simulator 3 because they contribute directly to 100% completion and help unlock various trophies and achievements. You can also obtain cosmetic rewards, like the “poop hat,” that unlock only after collecting all trinkets. Beyond rewards, trinkets naturally encourage exploration, pushing you to search through hidden corners of the map, including zoo enclosures, garages, hilltops, and even the road outside Quiet Hill. They also provide a strong sense of progression, since the collectible menu tracks every trinket you’ve found, giving you a clear picture of how much of the world you’ve uncovered.

    Progression & Achievement Unlocks

Trinkets play a major role in your overall progress in Goat Simulator 3. Collecting them contributes directly to 100% completion, which is required for several trophies and achievements. Because they’re tied to progression, each trinket you collect feels like a meaningful step toward mastering San Angora.

    Cosmetic & In-Game Rewards

Beyond completion, trinkets also unlock exclusive cosmetic items, which give your goat new looks and sometimes silly visual flair. These small rewards make the hunt more satisfying and encourage players to keep exploring.

    Exploration & World Interaction

The placement of trinkets encourages you to interact with San Angora in creative ways. They’re hidden in unexpected locations—inside props, behind enclosures, on rooftops, in caves, and along remote roads. Hunting for them naturally pushes you to explore every corner of the world, test movement abilities, experiment with goat mechanics, and discover secrets you might otherwise miss. This transforms the map into a playground full of surprises.

    Replayability & Engagement

Because trinkets are scattered across several themed zones, players often revisit areas multiple times to find everything. This boosts replayability and adds depth to what would otherwise be a chaotic, fast-paced sandbox experience. Each area feels new again as you return with fresh knowledge and updated abilities.

    San Angora Zoo Trinkets Locations

There are 7 Trinkets that can be found in the San Angora region of the game.

    Trinket 1: Zoo Entrance

On top of the gate, on the inside of the zoo entrance. You need to run up the banister to reach the platform.

    Trinket 2: Rhino Cage

In the back corner of the rhino cage, on the ground next to some troughs. To get there, enter via a hole in the wall, then head south.

    Trinket 3: Dolphin Studio

In the southernmost building (the dolphin show), behind the dolphins are some prop trees; behind one of those trees is a chest. Headbutt the chest to open it, and you’ll find the trinket inside.

    Trinket 4: Quarantine Garage

Headbutt or walk into the garage through the doors. Once inside, go to the back corner where some wooden boards block a spot. Remove or climb around them to reach the trinket.

    Trinket 5: Boar Cave

Climb the hill behind the south side of the zoo. Look for a cave with boars where a man stands next to his van. The trinket is inside that pig cave.

    Trinket 6: Road Sign

Teleport to the waypoint on Quiet Hill. On the road between the zoo and Quiet Hill rest top, there’s a road sign. The trinket hides just behind that sign, at the intersection where the two roads meet.

    Trinket 7: Wooden Structure

From the previous location, south of Quiet Hill and west of the road sign, head into the woods south until you find a small wooden hut/shack with a man sitting inside. The trinket is beside him.

These are all the Trinkets available in the San Angora Zoo, but there are many more regions with these trinkets, like the Libertarian Island. Be sure to collect all of them for some fun cosmetics and rewards!

For the San Angora Zoo trinkets, you generally don’t need unique gear — just some basic goat mobility (headbutting, climbing, running). The guides don’t mention needing special equipment.

While there’s no exclusive “zoo-only” reward documented, collecting trinkets contributes to your overall trinket total, which is tied to cosmetic unlocks (e.g., hats) and achievements.

The game does not typically remove collectibles permanently once collected; they are tracked in your collectible menu. But if you miss one, you can return to the location later, using the waypoint/map helps a lot.
