    Sonic Frontiers: Ares Island Guardian

    Sumo

    Sumo
    Sumo

Its name befits it perfectly. This guardian Sumo is a brutal boss who loves to corner their enemy in a ring and beat it with his whole might. Its rings bounce the enemy back into the encircled arena. The blue areas are the safe zones and the pink electrified areas should be avoided as it moves inside the arena.

To defeat Sumo, you have to remain in the blue area and activate your bullet time to aim it at Sumo. Keep bouncing Sumo in the electrified area and wait for it to be hit. Once it’s electrified, it will be disabled for a few seconds and use this opportunity to do a multi-bounce attack.

    Tank

    Tank

Tank is the hardest guardian you face in this barren desert. This boss creates tornadoes-like storms and carries you along. For this boss, timing is crucial as you will move around and avoid its fans. You have to move around and lock at its markers. Charge at its locks and it will fall on the ground. Properly observe your charges and attack till its health goes down. It will attack back with bullets and you just need to dodge them. Keep firing you charges till its defeats.

    Strider

    Strider
    Strider

Strider is another tall critter. It has four legs connected to its segment with ring rails around it. You have to get to the top of these rails, you have to use a ladder to get up there and will be attacked by small rails before you get there. You have to aim for the higher ring which is the outermost one.

Here, you have to aim to turn the whole ring blue. Make sure to move through blue rails. Or else you have to pass one extra daily rail to progress further. As you progress, Strider’s head will emit electric arcs to provide damage. The twist is that the arc emits in the opposite direction. You can switch to avoid them.

After all the rings are turned blue, you can reach the platform around the head and start serving your brutal attacks. After a few attacks the platform disappears and you have to repeat the entire process again by moving up from the small rings. In this process, Strider’s head will emit bolts to the rails on which you are moving. There will be two types of rails. The green ones stay on the rails and the red ones stay between the rails. With 2 to 3 damage rounds, Strider will be down.

    Shark

    Shark
    Shark

Sharks will be roaming around the desert, especially in open areas. You can only see it once its top fin appears over the sand. To begin the fight, focus on locking on markers by its tail. You have to stay on your tail and overcome the obstacles. There will be sharp and high turns that you need to overcome them. Charge it and it will fall to the ground. Keep attacking it till it digs back inside the sand. After some time, Shark will shoot missiles at you. Dodge them by moving in other directions.

You know all the Sonic Frontiers Ares Island Guardians in detail. This will help you to avoid them on the island and whenever you face them.
