This circular yellow light puzzle in Act 3 of Scorn is one of the trickiest in the game. The mechanics are difficult to grasp and appear random. This article will describe how both Scorn Yellow Light Puzzles in Scorn can be solved below with step by step guide.
First Yellow Light Puzzle
The first Yellow Light Nodes puzzle is to the right of the main area. Continue to the left and proceed through the Sphere. You’ll see a large room to your left, with the Panel for the First Yellow Light Nodes Puzzle in front of it. There are four circle’s in this puzzle, left, right, middle, and bottom. There are two parts to each one, with one being the circle itself and the other being the bar. Here’s a sequence that you can follow to light up all the nodes.
- Move the bar of the middle circle to the right circle.
- Turn the left circle until the light turns on (3 turns of the circle)
- Move the middle circle’s bar to the left (lit up) circle. You’ll notice the connection between the left and right circles open.
- Now turn the right circle until the light turns on (4 turns of the circle).
- Move the middle circle’s bar from the left to the right circle.
- Turn the right circle four times which would also turn the middle circle as it’s connected.
- Move the middle circle’s bar back to the left circle.
- Turn the right circle again to turn on the light.
- Move the middle circle’s bar to the bottom circle.
Second Yellow Light Puzzle
After completing the First Light Nodes Puzzle, proceed to the bottom floor to locate another panel containing the Second Light Nodes Puzzle. There are five circle’s in this puzzle, left, top, right, middle, and bottom. There are two parts to each one, with one being the circle itself and the other being the bar. Here’s a sequence that you can follow to light up all the nodes.
- Move the middle circle’s bar to the upper circle.
- Turn the left circle to light it up (4 turns)
- Move the bar of the upper circle to the top; away from other circles.
- Move the middle circle’s bar to the right circle.
- Turn the right circle 5 times.
- Move the middle circle’s bar to the upper circle.
- Turn on the light of the right circle (Rotate 1 time only).
- Move the middle circle’s bar to the bottom circle.
If you’ve accidentally messed up a step or experienced an issue, you can exit and restart from the start of the puzzle easily. This is because just before this puzzle, you get a saving checkpoint. For your safety, you can save it manually too, and try from the start. The puzzle is confusing and one wrong turn or position can mess up the whole thing.
