    The story mode of Raft has reached its last location – Island Balboa. Yes, the First Chapter ended here. The Island Balboa is a big island landscape with many signposts to help you with directions. This island restores the power on the dotted relay stations around the area.

    After Vasagatan, Raft gives directions to the island. The signposts will direct you to the relay stations. The Island of Balboa is covered with greenery filled with forests. And is home to bear families. Yes, the most challenging part is the boss-level fight with Mama Bear once you annoy her. You can grab planks as supplies from these Birch Trees.

    The path to the Island of Balboa isn’t smooth at all. Either you can swim to the island as it’s quite narrow for the Raft to reach. Or you can also swim at the beach. The beach is filled with rubble. It has signposts for the player to beware of bears around.

    The player will have to fight for survival on this island without strategic planning. Yes, here are the actions you need to take to pass through the Island safely.

    1. Island Balboa is the largest landscape player will be facing throughout the game. The ideal practice is to explore the island during daylight. It will take a lot of time for the player to look around. And also plan the next escape route.
    2. Don’t leave without weapons. Take your armor and arms with you whenever you move out of your safe spot. The Island has many bears and you both will cross paths. You can defeat them with arms but they will spawn back. You can mark their locations and stay down at those spots. But it’s impossible to avoid them.
    3. Always know your direction and keep track of it. Look for signs and be careful with directions. You can get lost easily.
    4. You can loot the Mama Bear’s cave. But be cautious with diverting her attention to berries she loves. Here you get one of the blueprints which we will discuss later.

    Blueprint #1: Fuel Tank

    The first blueprint is a fuel tank. You can find it inside the desk on Relay Station Six. You can easily assemble it to be used. One can or more will be connected together to work as a tank.

    The second blueprint is a biofuel refiner. You can inspect it in the desk of the Ranger Station. The raw foods and honey can be mixed to get a single can of biofuel. You can utilize it and place it in the Fuel Tank. It will charge the power batteries and power up the Raft engine.

    The third blueprint is the Machete. As mentioned above, you will find it inside the crate in the Mama Bear’s cave. It acts as a weapon for clearing the player’s paths. And it attacks enemies with its metallic sharpness.

    The fourth and last blueprint is the fuel pipe which you can get from Relay Station Four. You have to be careful with the Fuel Pipes as they will shift fuel from the Biofuel Tank to other machines. You can craft two fuel pipes at a time. But remember to refill other machines only if the tank is filled enough.

    Raft’s largest island and the last game place, Island Balboa is an adventurous island with several resources to get. Catching animals, getting the planks, and grabbing lots of berries can be easy for the unknown journey ahead.
