The Book of Boba Fett starts streaming on December 29 on Disney+. In our Paused series, we are going to give you a Trailer Breakdown and foreshadowing on the upcoming series The Book of Boba Fett.
The Book of Boba Fett is a spin-off from the infamous Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. The series follows Boba Fett and Fennec Shand. They are trying to retrieve the underworld territory from Jabba The Hutt who operated as a powerful crime lord in the underworld.
The first shot of the trailer shows us a BT-16 droid. The hardcore fans may remember its appearance in Jabba’s palace from The Return Of Jedi. The voice-over begins with Boba Fett letting us know that he has left his days of bounty hunting.

Fett says he is no longer a bounty hunter, but we hear in the next shot that people are not to quick to believe that he has retired. As a droid hands a helmet to Fett , the audience can sense that this is a man no longer up for hire but will do what he wants from now on.

The Lucasfilm logo appears on the screen and it is very hard to miss the similarities between the logo and Fett’s armor in the previous scene.

The logo dissolves and we see an Ithorian aka Hammerheads. He speaks to Fett and tells him that he now sits on the throne of Jabba The Hutt – Fett’s former employer.
Next up we see a landscape shot of the city. It still isn’t sure what might the city be but fans are speculating it to be a mix of Coruscant and Jedha.
Switching in between meeting with the Ithorian and the city, the trailer wants us to believe that this is the city Fett intends on concurring. An action sequence continues where Fett continues saying that unlike Jabba he intends to rule with respect, not fear.
The trailer then moves onto a scene where Fett is meeting the previous captains of Jabba The Hutt perhaps convincing them that he could be a better asset to them than him. The only dialogue we get from this council meeting is Fett saying:
“I’m here to make a proposal that’s mutually beneficial. Why speak of conflict when cooperation can make us all rich.”
The trailer continues to a montage of shots. These include a glimpse of Slave I, a fight sequence between Fett and Fennec against enemies carrying some sort of energy shields.
The trailer ends with Fennec Shand calling out one of the captains for being rude in front of Fett and reminding him that doing this in front of Jabba would’ve had dire consequences. To which Fett tells them to not hold back and speak freely.
