Renown is what helps you make your mark in the world of Calradia and based upon your amount of renown farmed, you gain respect and fame among the peasants, lords, ladies, and kings as increasing your renown unlocks different tiers for your clan. Going up a tier can also unlock certain perks for you.

Tiers
It is very important to have at least some background knowledge about tiers in the game. Tier 2, for example, allows you to become a mercenary for the lords, which allows you to surf for good battles and can help you establish yourself in the early game.
As you raise your tier, you can also get eligible to recruit more soldiers and companions in your clan. After you successfully achieve Tier 4, you can also create your own kingdom!
Enter Tournaments
To increase your chances for farming renown, enter as many tournaments as you can as winning each tournament can help you gain 3 renown. This may not seem like much but every little bit counts when you’re waiting on upping your tier.
Daily Bonus
If you make it a habit to enter tournaments, you can also gain enough skill to get to the top of the leaderboard which guarantees you a daily bonus of 1 renown.
Fight Tougher Opponents
Winning battles allows you to harvest the most amount of renown. Fighting an even battle will help you gain 6-10 renown. But if you go for battles where you are visibly outnumbered, it can help you gain almost double the renown. However, these may be hard to win.
Siege Castles
Taking over castles can result in a lot of renown. The amount can increase especially if you do it solo. However, this is useful for tiers three and above.
Use Perks
The perks you can gain in the game depend upon the role of the party leader. Some of the perks you should absolutely go for in the workshops or caravans are ‘Famous Commander’, ‘Duelist’, and ‘Public Speaker’ as they can help you gain the most renown.
