In the mission Defender: Mt. Zaya, you must defend three locations against attackers. During this time, you can also examine buildings for all 10 intel fragments in the Defender Mt. Zaya Spec Ops mission in Modern Warfare 2.
If you missed 20 Intel Locations for Low Profile Spec Ops, you can complete that mission and collect all those 20 pieces before this. If not, let’s continue with the locations of all 10 intel fragments in the Modern Warfare 2 Defender Mt. Zaya mission are listed below.
Mt Zaya Intel # 1
Go inside the Bunker through the collapsed area. Turn right as soon as you enter and look for a document file. It would be on top of the computers. Interact with it to get your first Intel.

Turn left from the first location and go to the other room there. Look for the intel on the ground, hidden by a server computer fallen on its side.

Go out of the bunker and move towards the office building. Look at the first table on the left-hand side of the building. The third intel is present here.
Mt Zaya Intel # 4
Coming out from the other side of the office building, go into the small shack in front of you. Turn a sharp right and look for a USB device on top of the table.

Next, go to Warehouse C. Once inside, go straight to the edge of the room to the bench on the far wall. The sixth intel is sitting there.

Inside the Observatory, there are three possible spawn points:
- It can be on the table in the marked building’s first room in the right corner.
- Take the stairs in the building to go to the next floor. On the far left, there is a desk that can have a USB device.
- The last location is also on the next floor, so take the stairs to the building. Run forward and jump over the railing. Run onto the setup, PC on top. There may be a USB device there if you couldn’t find them in the other two locations.
Mt Zaya Intel # 7
Around the area where you first spawn, there is a warehouse filled with crates. Go in there and look over the crates at your eye level. One of them would have Intel over it.

The eighth Intel can also be spawned in one of these locations.
- Go to the building connected to the warehouse, the Office building, and look inside the draws of the Office table. This is the first spawn point of USB.
- Go further ahead and turn left in the room near the exit. Here you’ll see a four-level shelf. The USB can be here on the shelf if not found in the first location.
Mt Zaya Intel # 9
Starting from the starting location, you can find a vending machine in the building present on your left. Turn left as soon as you enter to see it. Here, you’ll need to use $20,000 and you’ll then receive the Intel.
Mt Zaya Intel # 10
Proceed to the street near Site C and enter the building at the end of the street. The building’s door will only open after the sixth attack wave, so go there after it. Enter after unlocking the door. It is possible that the door will not open due to a bug. Just go to options and return to remove this bug.
Inside the room, look for a table with a USB on it by the left side, and look for a desk. This is the final Mt Zaya Intel in Modern Warface 2.
