Star-Lord Abilities
Since the Guardians’ abilities can be used frequently by the player it is easy to lose track of the main player and his abilities. Star-Lord has exclusive powers which you can upgrade using skill points in the pause menu. When you get a hang of his powers you can easily defeat enemies in the game.
Visor Upgrade

By upgrading the visor you can improve the blaster and know where the components are ahead of time. Finding possible collectibles nearby can also make your life much easier.
Performance Mode
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a high-quality game and although it looks fine running on 30 FPS, you should change the game to performance mode in settings to maximize the game to 60 FPS and enjoy a much smoother game as a result.
Explore the Game
There are some parts of the game where skipping dialogue and mindless maneuvering won’t work. The game expects the players to interact with the environment, pick up clues and explore options. If you’re stuck somewhere that probably means you have not exhausted all the options available.
