    List of all Elden Ring main bosses

    One of the top games released in February 2020, Elden Ring has a vast storyline in which you’re bound to come across your fair share of bosses. Some may be more ferocious and hard to beat than others. However, not all of these bosses are necessary to fight but defeating them can reward you with powers and ruins you might need in the game to move forward. 

    We have compiled a list of all the Elden Ring main bosses to help you get an idea of the magnitude of the game: 

    Main bosses

    The players will experience flexibility as to which bosses they want to defeat at the start of the game, but once you reach the capital city of Leyndell, the mandatory bosses start to appear. These are:

    Margit, The Fell Omen

    Margit the Fell Omen

    Margit, a horned beast, wandering with a giant cane is the first boss you will necessarily have to defeat. He will use his attacks to sling his magic at you so be careful as beating him can be a sport. 

    Godrick, The Grafted

    Godrick the Grafted

    This multi-limbed brute awaits you at the end of Stromveil Castle. You can also opt to face him later in the game. He drops Remembrance of the Grafted when he is defeated.

    Red Wolf of Radagon

    Red Wolf of Radagon, a giant red wolf guards the debate hall against intruders at Raya Lucaria within Liurnia of the Lakes. He is not an optional boss and must be defeated if you want to advance to the Legacy Dungeon.

    Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon

    You will be faced by this boss at the Academy of Raya Lucaria. She is one of the best ruin bosses. A powerful sorceress who will come to you in two phases of the game. 

    Godfrey, First Elden Lord

    First Elden Lord, found in Leyndell, Capital of Ash, will be only accessible to you after you make significant progress in the story. He must be defeated in order for you to move forward. He has two forms.

    Morgott, The Omen King

    This boss is very similar to Margit before him. Defeating him will help you conquer the capital of Leyndell for the time being and unlock a whole new phase in the story. 

    Fire Giant

    Fire Giant, the last known survivor of the War against the Giants, found on the Mountaintops is a monstrous creature who has a face on its chest and is a necessary boss to beat. 

    The Godskin Duo

    The Godskin Duo are a brutal pair of bosses who will attack the player in the Dragon Temple of Crumbling Farum Azula.

    Maliketh, The Black Blade

    Maliketh, also manifesting as a beast clergyman is a legend-type boss and is found in Crumbling Farum Azula.

    Sir Gideon Ofnir, The All-Knowing

    Sir Gideon Ofnir, found in Leyndell, is a powerful sorcerer who uses advanced sorceries as well as incantations. He is a Great Enemy class boss. 

    Radagon of the Golden Order

    This fractured guardian of the Elden Ring is a penultimate boss. Not only is he a constant barrage of holy magic, but you’ll have to be able to defeat him by a huge margin to be ready for what awaits you.

    Elden Beast

    The Elden Beast is what the players might call the literal manifestation of the game itself. Defeating him means you have mastered the game for good.
