As with any other game, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge has many bosses, all leading up to the main boss which comes at the end of the game. These bosses are very good at attacking, but their defense strategy is mostly zero to none. Here, Super Shredder in TMNT Shredder’s Revenge is made on the same principles as this game. Phase 1
Super Shredder has many attacks which can harm you a lot and you have to dodge all of these as fast as you can. It is better to focus on defending yourself than attacking and stretching the fight as time doesn’t matter but your health does.
Super shredder starts with the fast attack where he goes across the screen diagonally with speed. The only way to dodge is to jump away as before he runs, you can see where he is facing and then go to the opposite side or jump.
Don’t attack yet as you would only harm yourself and wait for this to finish.
Another attack which takes place in this phase is when he throws fire in a circle. He preps for this attack for half a second so during that you can land one strike but it is better to form some distance in this time.
The best way to save yourself is to jump as the layers of fire come towards you. Also, stay away from him as the further you are far, the more dispersed the fire will be making it easier to dodge it.
After these two attacks, he will focus on recharging and that is the time you can attack him the most. As said before, his defence is not strong so you can easily take one-third of his life with these attacks in the first break.
You may need to do this two times before the fight reaches the second phase.
Phase 2
In this phase, his initial attacks before are more deadly which is expected but there is another element added. When he finishes both of his attacks and recharges, he sends out four clones. They are like towers who throw fireballs at you.
They are easy to kill though so just go around slashing them one by one. I think the main purpose is to buy time for Super Shredder as he recharges. They are not as deadly but they do the trick. You can attack him after it as there is plenty of time left before he starts moving again.
This part also takes two turns, and he is defeated. With this, you’ve learned how to beat Super Shredder and you are done with the game. Congratulations.
