#1: Bring Altius Underground
Players will see a purple owl on the top right corner of their game screen. The owl is Altius. He will be on a signboard. It’s the job of the players to keep poking it with their shovels. So, that it keeps flying in the air. You as a player should take care of its flight path. Keep an eye on it and repetitively jump on it when above the chasm to get underground.
#2: Search for Altius in Mushroom Mines
Altius will be in one of the hidden rooms or in a room with a blue lantern sign on it. These rooms will be on any of the three floors of Mushroom Mines. Just like any shooter game, you have to hit the chest on which Altius will be sitting. And then continue with the biome.
#3: Look for Chester and all gears in Secret Fountain1 And Smeltworks 1
You will be in Secret Fountain 1 or Smeltworks 1 as the Mushroom Mines are in the rearview. You have complete two missions before you leave the floor. The first mission is to find Chester. And a gear attachment that will cost you 1500 gems. The second mission is to find three gears. And then you can leave the floor.
#4: Accomplish Smeltworks and Secret Fountain
At the end of the biome, you have to defeat the Shovel Knight Boss. And this fight will decide where you will have access. Either Smeltworks or Secret Fountain. Now, players have to work on the next step.
#5: Sacrifice Three Accessories
Here your task will be to locate a golden statue regardless of whether is Smeltworks or Secret Fountain. You can search for it on all three floors. And also in rooms marked with blue lanterns. But to have spent one accessory for each floor. As you are done here, you have a fight with the biome’s Boss. Defeat it and get down to get a Skeleton Key.
#6: Unlock the Triple Lock Door

#8: Defeat the Drill Knight
As you have completed the previous biome, you will enter the Drill Knight’s Castle. Then, you will get the Omega Relic. You have kept hold of it till the end. Here, you will confront the Drill Knight. Be cautious not to use the Omega Relics. And just stick to your shovel to damage it. And it tries to jump on a wall.
#9: Use the Omega Relic
As the Drill Knight jumps onto the wall, Omega Saw will appear. And it will chase the player. Make sure to dig in right constantly. And it opens, wait it’s just behind you. And then, use the Omega Relic to destroy it.
#10: Complete the Crystal Core
Finally, no more enemies in this biome, here will just have to complete the Crystal Core biome. And then you have the true ending.
