Update Graphics Card Drivers
Before you start blaming the developers of the game. Be sure to check if you have updated graphics card drivers. Outdated drivers are at large the cause of crashing games.
Remember to get the final version of the video card driver. Beta versions have bugs in them and can cause crashes too.
Disable Antivirus before installing
Before installing the game, either disable the antivirus or put the game files in the antivirus expulsion folder. Sometimes antivirus deletes files while installing games. This will cause the game to crash as it does not have all the files required to run smoothly.
