God of War Ragnarök has a variety of side activities, like chests, and collectibles, to let you fill your pockets without having to deal with a giant, furious boss. The buried treasures in this area are pretty interesting, even if you have to spend the time to search and then research the map. This guide will guide you through all three God of War Ragnarök Vanaheim treasure.
The Giant’s Toes
Map Location
The Map to this Buried Treasure may be found in the Vanir Shrine, which is located on the cliffs above Goddess Falls. The map is located in the central area, near the two Scorn Poles. Head right from the Vanir Shrine entrance, past the radius of the right-hand Scorn Pole. Make a U-Turn to the right at the Lore Marker to find the Treasure Map at the foot of a dead guy.
Treasure Location
While the image that comes with this Buried Treasure depicts the top of a zip-line in Cliffside Ruins, the treasure is instead on the neighboring Shoreline just North of it. All you have to do to locate this buried treasure is head to the River Delta Mystic Gateway. Check behind the Mystic Shrine, which is to the left of the workshop.

- Stonewood – 1
- Dwarven Steel – 1

Under the Rainbow
Map Location
This treasure map can be found in Noatun’s Garden, which is located south of Freyr’s Camp. When you reach the region, keep trekking north until you locate the map lying on the ground near some vines.
Treasure Location
The buried treasure may be found in Goddess Falls, to the south of Cliffside Ruins. Dock your boat and begin climbing the wall ahead of you. Climb another wall after grappling to the other side. The golden treasure spot is buried in the distance and can be seen from the top of this cliff.
The rewards you’ll get are:
- Nilfheim’s Virtue Amulet Enchantment – 3 Defense, 12 Cooldown
- Shattered Rune – 10
- Stonewood – 1
- Dwarven Steel – 1
- Honed Metal – 1
A Scar is Born
Map Location
This map is only available after finishing the Favor, Return of the River. This Favor can be found in the Vanaheim Jungles, a sub-area of The Crater. The map is situated on a small island in the Plains near the Yggdrasil Rift. This small island is accessible by boat from any of the docks. It may be found south of the lightning bolt, near the building that leads to Jungle.
Treasure Location
You will be able to see where the Buried Treasure is on the map if you have the Scar is Born Treasure Map in your inventory. The Scar is Born treasure may be found in Alfheim’s Plains. It is located just north of the first magical doorway, beneath the massive structure leading to the Sinkholes.
Another way to get at the treasure is to go south from the entryway by the blacksmith. To enter the structure, you must descend a ledge. Keep an eye out for the glittering light on the ground.

- Asgard’s Justice – 3 Cooldown, 12 Luck
- Shattered Rune – 75
- Asgardian Ingot – 4
- Petrified Bone – 4
- Luminous Alloy – 4
