The new Grounded 1.0 update is finally here, it brings with it a ton of new features for both new and veteran gamers and some new quests as well like Strange Signal Quest. Now that the entire campaign is included, the new players can play it either by themselves or with friends, and there are also new regions to discover. The old gamers will also like the many new products and upgrades to the quality of the game.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through one of the tasks – to find Wendell’s Lab in Grounded that will lead you to the new part of the map. It was added by the most recent update, which also includes a bunch of new quests and areas.
Enemies
The Undershed Lab is Grounded’s last and final lab. You will find both the Mant boss and Dr. Wendell Tully there. It is a short but challenging lab.
Entering the Lab
The player must first move through the Undershed in order to access the lab. The player must possess all four Super BURG.L Chips. Then you can have a dialogue with BURG.L and receive a fuse that activates Wendell’s SCA.B. The SCA.b is placed on the standing table on the shed’s deck. The player can enter the Undershed after the SCA.B is turned on. The lab is at the extreme end of the maze and is incredibly challenging.
If you try to reach the Grounded Shed Lab through the far west side you will find it guarded by a Black Widow Boss. On trying to go to the Shed Lab through the Undershed, one of Grounded’s most deadly areas that is full of spiders, ticks, mosquitos, and other dreadful creatures, you must proceed with the utmost caution. We’ll provide clear, detailed directions on how to locate the Grounded Shed Lab and how to avoid danger in the Undershed because the lack of map detail makes navigating difficult.
Wendell’s Lab In Grounded
Go through the crawl space into the shed. You’ll be given the duty of finding Wendell’s Lab in the quest “The Missing Scientist.” Players may find it difficult to navigate the new region, so in this guide, we’ll show you where to go.
Walk through a door to find a room filled with various objects. As you move through the space, you’ll come across a corridor that leads downward; follow it, and you’ll enter a vast underground space. Take the right-hand path to ascend.
Follow the path. Descend and find a piece of wood next to the pipe. Keep descending from there.
Continue straight until you reach the side of the chamber where a wooden staircase is located. Take the staircase upwards.
when you jump to the right, use the metal platform adjacent to the field station to pass through the passage.
Platform a little, then follow the passage through to several pipes.
The pipe has a drop-down at the end. Gliding into the area with the hole and several spider webs.
There will be spiders nearby. There should be an open area where you can find the lab door at the end of the fairly linear trail that leads through the spider nest.
In Grounded a few stray Fire Ants, including several Soldier Fire Ants, are what you’ll commonly find in Wendell’s Undershed lab. The bigger threat, though, is beyond them, but we won’t spoil it for you just yet. Just be sure to gather all the documents and audio records you can along the road so you’ll know what’s in store for you, and be ready for a huge fight.
