‘Friday the 13th: The Game’ adding ‘Offline Play’, also increasing Max Player Level – starting from tomorrow

The video game adaption to the horror film franchise of the same name, Friday the 13th, is developed by IllMonic. Just two days back, the developers announced on the official game forums, that from the next update the game would include “Offline Play” – along with an increase in the max level.

The new offline play mode will let you play only with the mass murderer, Jason Voorhees – but against the “Offline bots”, which would be the camp counselors, that too, you have the option to choose. As far as the counselors are concerned, you will be able to select from one to seven of these, also selecting their difficulty level from the general options; Easy, Medium, and Difficult. The update also lets you choose the map on which you want to hunt the counselors – or get hunted by them.

Alongside the offline play, the developers have also updated the max player level from 101 to 150. This raise of level wouldn’t be just an increase in the number, but it would include unlocking new grab kills and skins for Jason and some outfit changings for the counselors.

Moreover, IllMonic has also added three Holiday Events – that will give you the chance of getting unusual gear and an opportunity for boosting your CP earning in the game.

The update will be rolling out tomorrow. If in the past, you didn’t like the idea of just playing online and never bought the game, perhaps now with the offline mode you would like to give it a shot.
