    1. Check System Requirements

Lost Ark is a game that requires your gaming system to reach a number of basic requirements in order to run smoothly. Do check if your PC covers the recommended specs to run and if it does it should at least be on the minimum specs in order to not stutter.

    Lost Ark Minimum System Requirements

    2. Update your graphics card drivers

If your gaming system is fulfilling the minimum requirements then the next step is to update your graphics card drivers to the latest version. For NVIDIA that’s GeForce drivers, and AMD has Radeon drivers.

    3. Switch between windowed and full screen

Switch from windowed to borderless or if you’re playing on a fullscreen switch to windowed. In some cases, doing this will increase your fps and lower frame drops.

    4. Close Background Applications

Clear out all background tasks running in your system’s background. Clear out the programs such as web browsers, file managers, etc. You can close them manually or end the task in Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc.

    5. Stop Downloads

Make sure you aren’t downloading something in the background of the game. Tasks such as Windows updates or other media will decrease your PC’s performance.

    6. Switch to Auto Settings

    • Press Esc in-game
    • Go to Settings, and then Video
    • Select Auto Settings
    • Resume gameplay to test if the lag improved
    • If there is still lag, Select All and lower the settings until gameplay improves.

    7. Contact Steam Support
