In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you have to complete quests for your Disney figure. To improve and maintain their friendship with them, First, you need to unlock other characters for your Disney friend.
The adventure mission will take you to the Forest of Valor. And fetch an item for Merlin. So, after you have found Donald Duck and unlocked the Forest of Valor, the forest adventure will begin. Now, Merlin wants to have a serious talk about the mysterious gem he found in the Forest of Valor.
How to Complete the Crystal Mystery in the Forest of Valor
The gem you need to find is the “Mysterious Shard“. This gem is black in color and is outlined with golden magical light. And looks very similar to the Night Shard. Here are the steps you need to follow correctly to accomplish this mission.
Reach the Forest of Valor
Approach or teleport to the location of the Forest of Valor.
The Pillar of Courage
As you enter the Forest of Valor, you have to find the Pillar of Courage. The Pillar of Courage is in the south of the map of the forest. It is the same spot where you found the Dark Grove portal.
Search for the Mysterious Shard
As you approach the Pillar of Courage, head to its right side (according to the map reference). Here, you have to dig the soil. Use your royal shovel. And get the Mysterious Shard.
Handover to Merlin
Get to Merlin with the Mysterious Shard. Merlin will state that “this gem reacts strongly to Dreamlight Magic which leads him to believe that it was possibly once Dreamlight! ” Next, you have to help Merlin to purify the gem.
Merlin will ask you to collect some Night Shards and craft a Purified Night Shard with a crafting table. Once it’s ready, give it to Merlin. And the quest is completed.
