    In Cult of the Lamb, during Crusade runs, Tarot Cards give you momentary boosts that help you survive longer and return more useful resources back to your Cult. Some cards will provide you healing while some will help you with dealing more damage. Do keep in mind that Tarot Cards are removed from your inventory when you return to your village after the Crusade run, so make sure you do use these cards while they are useful.

    Also, even though you will have access to these cards fairly early on, there are just a few tarot cards that have been unlocked. In order to make it easier for you to battle through dungeons and face the toughest enemies, you should unlock new ones as you progress.

    Unlock New Tarot Cards

    Many of these Tarot Cards actually unlock by default but not all of them. The easiest way is to purchase fresh tarot cards from various merchants you come across. The majority of these merchants will become accessible after you unlock a certain place, like the Spore Grotto or Smuggler’s Sanctuary.     The Hearts I

    Weeping Moon will allow you to deliver 30% more damage to your enemies during the nighttime. You can purchase this tarot card from Spore Mound for 25 Gold.

    The Lovers I

    Another card for survivability is The Lovers I, this card adds a +1 Shield Heart. The Lover I is unlocked by default.

    The Lovers II

    The Lovers II adds a +2 Shield Hearts and can be unlocked by performing a Fight Pit or Wedding Ritual.

    True Sight

    True Sight card increases your chance of dealing a critical hit by 10%, this card also unlocks by default.

    Telescope

    In case you want to have a look at the map, use the Telescope as it allows you to reveal the whole map. This card is also unlocked by default.

    Diseased Heart

    Another yet aggressive card that damages every enemy on the screen when used and this card is also unlocked by default as you progress through the game.

    The Arachnid

    The Arachnid delivers poison to the enemies and deals heavy damage. The Arachnid is unlocked by default as you progress through the game.

    Divine Strength

    Anyone who loves aggression will definitely go for this card, as it allows you to increase your attack rate by 1.25x. Divine Strength is unlocked by default as you progress through the game.

    Master of the Art

    This card allows you to increase your weapon damage by 1.2x. Master of the Art is unlocked by default as you progress through the game.

    The Path

    This card allows you to increase your movement speed by 1.25x. The Path can be purchased from Spore Mound for 35 Gold.

    Fervour’s Harvest

    This card will make enemies drop 2x more Fervour and it unlocks by default as you progress.

    Shield of Faith

    This Tarot Card is one of those defense cards that lets you block the incoming attack and damage, there is a 10% that you will receive no damage from the incoming attack. Shield of Faith is unlocked by default as you progress through the game.

    Blazing Trail

    This card will allow you to deliver damage to the enemies when rolling into them. You can unlock this card by purchasing it from Spore Mound for 35 Gold.

    Divine Curse

    Divine Cruse will make the Curses consume less Fervour by 25% and this card also unlocks by default.

    Neptunes Curse

    When using this card there is a chance that the enemy will drop a fish. You can unlock Neptunes Cruse at the Pilgrim’s passage by speaking to The Fisherman.

    Fortune’s Blessing

    Another healing card is Fortunes Blessing which allows you to receive double the health when healing. This card unlocks by default as you progress through the game.

    Death’s Door

    This card can make you win a losing battle by turning the tables because whenever you are down to the health of half the heart, all of the enemies will automatically deal 2 damage when using this card. Death’s Door is also unlocked by default.

    Rabbits Foot

    Rabbits Foot increases your chance of getting your hand on better chests and this card also unlocks by default.

    Gift From Below

    There is a 10% chance that you might get a shield when killing an enemy if you’re using this card. Again, this tarot card also unlocks by default.
