One-handed swords are the weapons from a 2020 game called “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla”. Let’s discuss the game before the guide to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla One-Handed Swords. This is an action role-playing game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.
It is the twelfth sequel to the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This game is based on the adventurous role of Eivor Varinsdottir who is a raider. The player can select male or female gender for the character.
The character has vengeance intentions against Kjotve who sacked the hometown of Eivor. The player can visit all the locations on the map and some hidden locations can also be reached. This game has classic fights and is mostly based on exploration. Nevertheless, in this guide, we will be helping you with everything you need to know about One-Handed Swords in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
One-Handed Swords
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla One-handed swords are introduced in the game through DLC. Some new quests and locations are also introduced with this DLC. This update is getting widely recognized in the world of Assassin’s Creed. One-handed swords are often known as Short swords. They were only available to the enemies for a long time and we could only use heavy-weight greatswords which are not easy to swing. Thankfully, now one-handed swords are provided to the players.
There are a total of six one-handed swords in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Each sword has its own unique design and the way to acquire each one of these swords is quite different. Some can be found during quests and some can be acquired through exploration. Some swords do not have a strong relationship with the storyline. Following are the six different swords and a guide as to where to find these swords
Egbert

You can get this sword from Siege of the Paris DLC. It increases stun after each hit. The duration is 3.5 seconds and stacks 10 times. The more you hit the people the more the stack of stone will increase. This sword can be attained by completing “Ulfberht’s trial” world event. This event takes place at Blihaut. Once you reach the event you are asked by a thief to give him 3000 coins to get the sword or simply you can get it by killing that thief. This way you can get this sword.
Ring Sword

This sword requires the player to reach far in the game in order to attain it. At the end of Siege of the Paris DLC, there is a quest called “Skal quest”. This sword is given as a reward for completing the quest. This sword increases the critical chance when dodging.
Durendal

This sword increases the critical chance at 85% or higher health. This sword requires exploration but it is worth exploring for this sword. There is a small town in the south of the Evreux region and “Durendal” is present down there inside a chest covered by wood in the well. This sword can be further upgraded.
Joyeuse

It is one of the most good-looking one-handed swords. First, you need to unlock a hidden quest which can be unlocked by completing half of the main story The Siege of Paris. This is also located inside a chest which requires three keys to unlock. This temporarily poisons your weapon after five successive heavy hits.
Ulfberht

“The Spear of Lugh quest” provides “Ulfberht Myth Clue” and “Ulfberht Sword Map” that leads to “River Shine”. In River Shine, if you defeat the two captains at military locations then you can get to the champion of the sword. Ulfberht sword is rewarded after defeating the champion of the sword. This sword increases the critical chance and critical damage at the same time.
Coil Sword

Coil sword increases the damage taken by 5% and also enhances the melee damage when equipped. This sword was inspired by Jormungandr. This sword can be purchased from Ubisoft in-game store at the release of the expansion.
