Horizon Forbidden West continues the journey of Aloy on new grounds. Based on the story after half a year of Horizon Zero Dawn. Featuring new enemies, new combat styles, and new machines to tackle. Just like the previous installment, the iconic Tallnecks are still around throughout the game. Overriding them unlocks a new portion of the map and also rewards skill points. In this guide, we will help you in all the Tallneck locations in Horizon Forbidden West.
1. Tallneck: Cinnabar Sands

Go to the Tallneck’s location in Cinnabar Sands. To get to the Tallnneck, first climb up the Dish. You need to restore the console by bringing the power cell to the generator. When the console power us climb up on it. There will be two wires jamming it from turning all the way upwards. Destroy them to let the dish move all the way up. From the top of the dish jump to the Tallneck and override it.
2. Tallneck: The Sand of the Sentinels

Climb above the abandoned settlement. From there you have to time our jump in such a way that you can grab one of the planks sticking out of the Tallneck and climb up to it to override it.
3. Tallneck: The Stillsands

For the next Tallneck go to the location marked on the map as The Stillsands. Examine the machine carcass and investigate the camp with your focus. For this Tallneck you need to weigh it down by using ballistics around the camp. After you’ve hit it with three arrows it will fall down and you can override it.
4. Tallneck: Landfall

Examine the submerged Tallneck at the location marked on the map. You need to recover the Tallneck’s parts from the surrounding areas. Return back to the Tallneck underwater and install the recovered parts in it. It will start moving. Go to a nearby building and jump on the Tallneck. Climb all the way to the top of it to override it.
5. Tallneck: The Shining Wastes

This quest is overridden by the main quest “The Wings of the Ten”. In order to progress further in the main quest, you need to override the Tallneck.
6. Tallneck: Salt Bite

This is overridden by the quest “Iota”. You need to override the Tallneck in order to complete the quest.
We hope this guide was helpful in finding the locations and overriding all the Tallnecks in Horizon Forbidden West.
